The Practice, in association with RSP, completed a major refurbishment of 6 Battery Road, Singapore. The refurbishment of the building increased the amenity of the work environment, substantially reduced the lifecycle costs of the building operation systems and maximised available gross floor area to create additional lettable area.
All general building services were upgraded, including the mechanical system which was reconfigured to release an additional two floors of area. The common areas were completely refurbished, including all lifts, amenities areas and tenancy corridors and the external facade upgraded to increase the amenity of the offices and create a superior thermally efficient system.
The Level 1 lift lobby was completely refurbished and increased in size to make use of all available area. A new space, which includes a lounge and café, was introduced to accommodate the changing needs of the workplace.
