The 60-metre long studio building is characterised by a series of continuous horizontal louvres and provides a brick paved performance terrace facing the courtyard for functions and informal student performances. A series of double-height studios for music theatre, drama, dance and a showing studio are located on ground level, while recording, lighting and electronic studios are situated beneath in isolated structures.
The first floor houses costume and millinery workshops, design studios, a technical drawing studio and offices. The adjacent performing arts theatre is set over three levels as an intimate, court-style theatre seating 190 people. Accommodating multiple uses including drama, dance, and music, the theatre has a dual role as a teaching resource and as a venue for performance.
